American Processional Captains Association

Our crew belongs to APCA (American Professional Captains Assoc.) a drug consortium; they can be and are routinely drug tested.

Fully Licensed

In addition, all crew fully licensed and trained to US Coast Guard standards and experienced on the Gulf of Mexico waters. Children are always welcome. Our skippers and deckhands specialize in showing families and children the fishing trip of a lifetime.

We are using two captains from time to time that all can have more family time.

Captain Bob Erickson is from New Jersey. He has been boating since childhood with his family and absolutely loves fishing. Bob can handle a vessel with ease.

Captain Jeff Rathey has grown up in a fishing family locally. He is a wealth of knowledge on about any subject. He is also an accomplished boater with excellent boatmanship skills.

Captain Brad is one of the top skippers in the Tampa Bay area. Tutoring under of the legendary Captain Maxie’s wing coupled with thirty plus years of experience, Captain Brad’s exceptional fishing knowledge and hard work keeps him a cut above average. He has trained many of the competition currently running fishing boats in the Clearwater Area. Captain Brad is knowledgeable about repairs and maintenance, you can be sure his vessel is in peak running condition. He graduated MATC in Madison WI, in welding and diesel mechanics. He has been involved in the fisheries science side by captaining many research trips in the gulf. Active in the fisheries management side as well.

Capt. Brad is a former CFA board member (Charter Fisherman’s Association)  and Reef fish shareholders alliance member, and is an IFQ shareholder. He is also an accomplished commercial fisherman.
